My 10 year old son was daignosed with Aspergers in Kindergarden thanks to a wonderful, caring and observant teacher. We have fought the schools and won, and he is now a thriving 4th grader with so many strengths. Thank you so much for To my sisters....I havent stopped crying yet. Seeing there are other moms who share your same feelings is a blessing. Thank you for this site!!

I have a 5 year old son with autism. He was diagnosed at the age of 3. Organizations such as Childlink and Elwyn, here in Philadelphia, have been of great help to us. He will start kindergarten this fall, with the school district of philadelphia, where he will continue to receive autism support services, such as o/t and speech. All I can say is never stop praying, never stop helping and always get in involved. We are looking for to the autistm walk that will take place here in philly on September 20.

My 14-year-old son was diagnosed with AS in first grade and this year he starts high school. He's done quite well so far, but wish us luck!
